Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is talk therapy. It allows for the opportunity and time to open up to begin to understand, to move forward, and to heal. Life is complicated, sometimes overwhelming, and unimaginable. Working with a theraoust can help us to process, understand, and manage how we view and cop life's experiences. My role as a therapist is to be a trusted supportive, and experienced listener. My training encompasses traditional western psychoanalysis, depth psychology, family systems, pastoral care, and meditation. I have been a social worker psychotherapist for more than 25 years. I care for clients all along the life span, from the very young to the very aged. In addition to being a licensed therapist, I hold Certificates in Yoga Teaching and Pastoral Counseling.
I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist. My experience and training have led me to know that people can and do feel better with treatment. My goal is to always support my clients in feeling and doing the best that they can!
I recently have added therapeutic meditation groups. The groups will meet twice monthly, this is an insurance coverable service.
